I have been teaching yoga since 1997. My certification in yoga is a two year teacher training program at the Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto. I have also studied many styles of yoga as well as other practices, thus making me a rather versatile teacher. It has also helped me to deeply understand the principles in yoga.
I teach yoga, focusing on principles that bring balance mind and body. I have a good knowledge of body mechanics, as well as an intuitive understanding of the body and how it relates to the postures as well as health and healing. My classes tend to be challenging, though I also help and encourage students to work at their own level. While individualizing the practice it is important to remember that different variations simply have different effects.
